Boil Water Notices

Precautionary boil water notices are issued anytime a water line loses pressure for any reason, examples: water main breaks and well operation issues. These notices are considered precautionary due to us not knowing without a doubt that the water is safe for consumption. Customers are urged to boil any drinking water at a hard boil for 1 minute before consumption.

We are required to notify our customers  by radio, television, and local newspapers. Although it is not a requirement, we also offer a place on this web site to sign up for alerts. You can receive notices via e-mail, text, or both.

We then must collect at least 2 water samples for the area(s) affected by a precautionary boil...
